Findlater's Corner
Findlater's Corner - London Bridge.
I'm guessing, that today, very few people know that this is Findlater's Corner, under the railway bridge at the southern end of London Bridge. Certainly a black cab driver I asked didn't know.
Findlater had originally established a wine business in Dublin and then came to London. The business thrived, but in 1967,work a downturn in its fortunes, it was sold to Bulmers and then in 1993, became part of the John Lewis /Waitrose Partnership where it provided the foundation for what is today Waitrose Cellar.
